Dr. Dorothy D. Adams

RN, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Dorothy Adams has over 30+ years experience in treating mental health patients. Adams has gained extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Her personal goal as a mental health provider is to deliver high quality personalized psychiatric and behavioral health services through Telehealth. She will take special care to understand each patient's unique experiences and needs.

Dr. Adams graduated from Crystal Springs High School and Co-Lin Jr College in Wesson, Mississippi, earning an Associate in Applied Science. Building on this foundation, Adams pursued further education at Mississippi College, where she obtained a Bachelor in Nursing, followed by a Master's in Nursing Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Continuing to advance her expertise, Adams achieved a Post-Master's in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Most recently, in 2022, Adams successfully completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Southern Mississippi.
